Terms & Conditions for Lufthansa's Virtual Pilot drawing

  1. Only open to UK residents aged over 18, excluding employees and their immediate families of the Promoter, its agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion.
  2. No purchase required.
  3. To enter: Go to www.lufthansa-promotion.co.uk and opt-in to Lufthansa’s online newsletter and get a £20 off promotional code to use towards your next flight with Lufthansa when booked on lufthansa.com.
  4. Last closing date for receipt of entries is midnight 31 September 2009.
  5. Existing newsletter subscribers may enter the prize draw by visiting www.lufthansa-promotion.co.uk and ticking the box which states ‘I’m already registered to receive Lufthansa’s online newsletter’.
  6. Only new subscribers to the Lufthansa newsletter are entitled to receive and use the £20 promotional code for a Lufthansa flight purchased on lufthansa.com

  8. Promoter reserves the right to request proof of age and identity.
  9. Only one prize per person.
  10. The winners for the Lufthansa Prize draw will be selected at random within ten days of the relevant closing date by Lufthansa, from all valid entries.
  11. The Prizes:
    1st Prize: 2 return Business Class tickets to New York with Lufthansa (including taxes and airport charges) and 7 nights in the Grand Hyatt Hotel in New York.
    2nd Prize: 2 return Business Class tickets to Milan from London Heathrow with Lufthansa (including taxes and airport charges) and 2 nights in the Principe di Savoia Hotel in Milan.
    3rd Prize: 2 return Business Class tickets to Munich with Lufthansa (including taxes and airport charges) and 2 nights in the Admiral Hotel in Munich.
  12. All prizes to be booked directly with Lufthansa and travel completed by 31 August 2010. For information current UK airports serviced are Edinburgh, Newcastle, Manchester, Birmingham, London Heathrow and London City. The Milan route is from London Heathrow.
  13. Bookings for prize winners must be made via email, details of which will be given to winners at the time of their win. All bookings must be made a minimum of one month before the proposed date of travel and are subject to availability. Once booked dates and names are final and cannot be changed.
  14. Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable and no cash alternatives. In the unlikely event that passengers are downgraded or offloaded due to high load factors, they will be responsible for any costs incurred and Lufthansa will not be held responsible.
  15. Winners and their guests must travel together and will be responsible for ensuring that they have the appropriate passport or visa requirements for their destination and appropriate travel insurance.
  16. The prize does not include airport transfers or any other services or costs.
  17. In the event of unforeseen circumstances the Promoter reserves the right to offer alternative prizes of equal or greater value.
  18. By entering the promotion participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the rules. All entry instructions form part of these Terms and Conditions.
  19. Any breach of these Terms and Conditions may result in a forfeit of the prize.
  20. The Promoter or its agencies will not be responsible for entries lost, corrupted, delayed or otherwise not received due to technical failures of the entry system, whether any such failure is within the control of The Promoter or its agencies. Proof of dispatch or posting is not proof of receipt of entry.
  21. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering this promotion or accepting the prize. The Promoter further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to your or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the Competition. Nothing shall exclude the liability of the Promoter for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.
  22. The Promoter's decisions are final in all matters relating to this promotion and no correspondence will be entered into.
